Monitor stress with new digital service

Digital stress monitoring is a new service that helps employees gain insight into their stress levels, sleep and recovery, making it easier to create balance in everyday life.

Participants connect to a portable ECG for three days and use an app to monitor their stress levels, sleep quality, physical activity and their own self-evaluation of stress symptoms. The in-app results can then assist the user to track their own health more effectively.

“This service provides employees with information about their own health factors. Management and HR can also use the results to support decision-making in their work relating to health, both within smaller groups or at the organisational level,” says Åsa Miemois, Health Promoter at Previa.

The app contains a digital guide which provides feedback based on results from the ECG monitor and recommends meditation, reflection and breathing exercises to the user. If there are ten participants or more, managers and HR can receive an anonymised group report containing an overview of employee health and stress levels.

The service is offered in collaboration with Linkura and is based on research from Linköping University on bodily signals in connection with stress, sleep and recovery. The service is not suitable for use in medical investigations or rehabilitation. It is intended purely as a health promotion tool.

The digital stress monitoring service replaces our previous Insights programme for mental fitness.
