Systematic Work Environment Management

Risk assessment of the work environment

A risk assessment forms the basis for the employer's responsibilities such as medical check-ups, educations and other efforts to achieve the criteria for a healthy workplace.

By law, you as an employer must regularly examine working conditions and assess the risks of ill health or accidents at work.

The risk assessment is based on the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations where
physical, organizational and social conditions are to be investigated. Noise, lighting, ergonomic loads and chemical health risks are examples that affect the physical working environment. For example, the organisational and social work environment is affected by stress, relationships, work organisation and work load.
