Health and Work Environment Profile

The health and work environment profile provides a comprehensive picture of the health situation in the workplace, both from a group and individual perspective. The results from the profiles forms the basis for establishing an action plan and creating motivation to improve health and safety at work.

Survey and physical health check-up

The health and work environment profile provides a broad health perspective with a focus on what can improve the health of the employee and the organization. The profile maps living habits, musculoskeletal disorders, well-being and the social and organisational working environment. It is a type of health survey that gives employees the opportunity to take part of how living habits, physical disorders, fitness and work environment affect well-being.

How it works

  1. Scheduled appointment and log-in
When you as the manager have ordered a health and work environment profile to your employee, the employee receives an e-mail with login information for a health questionnaire that must be completed before the visit.
  2. The employee answers the health questionnaire
The questionnaire is based on different question blocks with validated questions that revolve around factors that are possible for the employee to influence such as diet exercise, alcohol, tobacco, sleep and stress, as well as issues that the employer can influence in the organizational and social work environment. Query blocks can be added or deleted depending on what is to be investigated. It is also possible to add additional samples or tests such as hearing tests, eye exam, balance tests, and extended alcohol screening.
  3. Visit to a occupational health nurse
The answers to the questionnaire will be the basis for the health conversation with the occupational health nurse. The employee may perform a fitness test and take samples for blood pressure, BMI, waist circumference, glucose and cholesterol. The visit takes takes 50 min and results in an action plan for how to proceed.

Important things to keep in mind before the visit

  • The questionnaire must be completed before the visit.
  • Do not perform vigorous physical training or heavy work hours before.
  • You should not eat, drink or smoke/snuff 2 hours before the visit. However, water is good to drink.
  • Bring a change of clothes and trainers to the fitness test, or wear casual clothing.
  • If you take any medications, bring the name of them.
  • Bring a valid ID.
