Flight - Pilots Class 1
OrderFlight medical assessment that complies with the legal requirements and applies to Pilots in commercial aviation to ensure their ability to perform assigned safety duties and obligations.
What it is
Statutory Check-up: Flight - Pilots Class 1 is a medical and psychological assessment to ensure the health of the employee. After the check-up, the employee receives a Medical Certificate for Air Traffic Controllers from EMPIC.
When it should be done
- Yearly for pilots under 40 years old
- Every 6 months for pilots in commercial flight with passengers who are 40-59 years ord
- From 60 years and over every 6 months
The employer is responsible for ensuring that the medical check-ups are done with the right periodicity.
How it works
- Order service
When you have ordered the service, your employee is booked for the check-up. The time is communicated in a text message to the employee. - Visit
During the visit, ECG, audiometry and eye examination are performed according to statutory periodicity. Sampling and measurment of color vision, blood pressure, height and weight are also done. - Certificate
After the examination, a medical certificate for air traffic controllers is issued by EMPIC. - Feedback
No feedback is made if the check-up is approved and a certificate can be issued.
