Statutory investigations

Breathing Apparatus Operations

Order

Important! This service is ordered for medical examinations to be conducted from January 1, 2025. For medical examinations to be conducted before that, please choose the service including resting ECG.

The statutory check-up complies with the legal requirements of AFS 2019:3, AFS 2007:7 and applies to employees who work with breathing apparatus operations. Before you order the service, you need to carry out a risk assessment.

What it is

Medical Check-up – Breathing Apparatus Operations is done to reduce health risks associated with breathing apparatus operations. With certain periodicity, an ECG must be included in the check-up. If that is the case, order that service instead. After the check-up, we will issue a certificate of service.

When it should be done

How it works

  1. Carry out risk assessment
Before you order the service, you must carry out a risk assessment in order to identify the specific work situation and any risks.
  2. Order service
Fill in information from the risk assessment in the order form. When you have ordered the service, your employee is booked for the check-up. The time is communicated in a text message to the employee.
  3. Visit

  5. Feedback
A certificate for service is sent to you as orderer via secure e-mail.
