Laboratory Animals
OrderThe statutory check-up complies with the legal requirements of AFS 1990: 11 and applies to employees who are exposed to ionizing radiation in their work and belong to category A. Before you order the service, you need to carry out a risk assessment.
What it is
Statutory Check-up – Laboratory Animals are made to detect possible allergies or hypersensitivity to animals in the workplace. After the check-up, we issue a certificate for service.
When it should be done
- Before start of new employment
- In case of symptoms
- Employees with allergies or hypersensitivity should be offered the check-up periodically. How often is determined in consultation with doctors.
The employer is responsible for ensuring that the medical check-ups are offered with the right periodicity.
How it works
- Order service
Fill in information from the risk assessment in the order form. When you have ordered the service, your employee is booked for the check-up. The time is communicated in a text message to the employee. - Visit
During the visit, a health examination is carried out. Sampling and medical examination with possible referral to a specialist is done if necessary. - Certificate
A certificate is handed to the employee who then forwards it to you as orderer.
