Statutory investigations

Noise

Order

The statutory check-up complies with the legal requirements of AFS 2005:16 and applies to employees who are or will be exposed to harmful noise at their work. Before you order the service, you need to carry out a risk assessment.

What it is

Statutory Checkup - Noise is a hearing examination done to detect early hearing loss due to noise and to preserve hearing. After the check up, we issue a certificate of conducted hearing examination.

When it should be offered

The employer is responsible for ensuring that the medical check-ups are offered with the right periodicity.

How it works

  1. Order service
Fill in information from the risk assessment in the order form. When you have ordered the service, your employee is booked for the check-up. The time is communicated in a text message to the employee.
  2. Visit
During the visit, the employee's hearing is measured. The hearing examination takes place in a hearing cage or a quiet room with special headphones. The performed risk assessment is the basis for the visit.
  3. Certificate
A certificate of the hearing examination is issued.
  4. Feedback
Certificate is sent to you as orderer via secure e-mail.
