First-day Certificate – Investigation
RequestThe purpose of this service is to look in to an employee's short-term absence. The result can be used as a basis for decisions about first-day certificates.
What it is
First day certificate – Investigation starts with an assignment dialogue via telephone between you as the client and one of our rehab coordinators. Depending on the outcome of the conversation, different activities then take place; for example, a survey interview with the rehab coordinator for the employee, sampling with the company nurse and medical examination with the company doctor. The content of the mapping depends on the situation and what emerges in dialogue with you as the client. Screening of alcohol consumption and breath tests may occur.
How it works
- Order service
When you have ordered the service, you will be notified of the time for the assignment dialogue with the rehab coordinator via e-mail. - Telephone consultation
One of our rehab coordinators contacts you as the client for a dialogue about the employee's sickness absence pattern and then books further interventions. - Feedback
After the investigation has been carried out, you as the orderer will receive documentation that can form the basis for deciding on first-day certificates. If a decision is made that the employee should be submitted with a first-day certificate, this is communicated to Previa and the rehab coordinator. Employees receive written and oral information from the employer and/or Previa on how to proceed to get a "first day certificate" issued on the first day of sick leave.
FAQ
Why first-day certificates?
A first-day certificate can make the employee aware of their sick leave pattern and employers can be expected to receive lower short-term sick leave. The ability to assess work ability and the possibility of adapted tasks may increase.
