Metro and Light Rail

Order

The statutory check-up complies with the legal requirements of TSFS 2019:113 and applies to employees who performs safety-critical tasks in the metro and light rail.

What it is

Statutory Check-up - Metro and Light Rail is done to assess the suitability of employees to perform safety-critical tasks. After the check-up, we will issue a medical statement. You need to specify in the order form which parts within 7§ the new employee will work with:

  1. Driving a vehicle
  2. Direct or supervise rail traffic (e.g. signaller, train conductor, chief overseer)
  3. Assess the road safety of vehicles or track facilities (e.g. inspector, signal safety controller)
  4. Otherwise operate traffic and work on tracks according to the operator's safety management system (e.g. train commander, traffic assistant, supervisor with A, E, L or S protection)

When it should be done

How it works

  1. Order service
    State the work duties of the employee in the order form. After the service is ordered, the employee is scheduled for a health check, and a notification is sent.
  2. Visit
    The visit consists of a general medical examination including sampling.
  3. Feedback
    A medical statement is sent to the designated recipient by secure email. If the employee is deemed unfit for duty, you will be informed immediately.
