Health and work environment Survey

Working systematically with the work environment should be a natural part of the day-to-day operations of an organization. The work environment encompasses all conditions in a workplace, social, organisational and physical conditions.

What it is

Health and work environment survey maps lifestyle habits, musculoskeletal disorders, well-being and the work environment. The purpose is to investigate, risk assess, address and follow up health and work environment factors.

For Volvo Group, people's health, safety and well-being is a priority. A health and work environment survey is therefore carried out for your working group. Before a survey, always check with your HR and make sure that your order is in line with the company's internal working methods, work environment goals and plan.

Health and work environment questionnaire

Employees receive a basic digital survey that highlights the areas that, according to research, are important for health in our modern working life. All questions are validated and designed with the support of current research in health and working life.

Optional:

• Module Industry: In-depth questions about the physical work environment, the use of protective equipment and exposure in the work environment
• Module Physical work: in-depth questions and investigation with a focus on physical resources but also early problems and work-related risk factors for ill health.
• Module "Extended OSA: focusing on factors in the organisational and social work environment
• Work from home module: in-depth questions related to working in the home office

Health and work environment profile

Employees receive a questionnaire and can choose a time for a health conversation with an occupational health nurse with an individual action plan and health examination (fitness test, measurement of blood pressure, BMI, waist circumference, glucose and cholesterol)

If you, as a manager, want a report at group level, at least 10 employees must participate. The profile can only create an improved mode if it is implemented with subsequent efforts for individual employees and the workgroup.

Optional:

Workshop: in order to create participation and conditions to strengthen and improve health and the work environment, Falck offers to facilitate a workshop in order to summarize the working group's reflections and suggestions for efforts in an action plan based on the results.

Before the visit regarding a health and work environment survey, employees need to think about

• The questionnaire must be completed before the visit
• Do not perform physical exercise or heavy work the hours before the visit
• You should not eat, drink or smoke/snuff 2 hours before the visit. Water is okay to drink
• The visit takes about 1 hour

Bring

• Change of clothes and trainers for the fitness test, or wear casual clothing
• The name of your medicine/medicines, if you take any
• Valid identification
