Climbing with a large level difference incl working ECG
Medical check-ups that meet legal requirements according to AFS 2019:3, AFS 2000:06 and are aimed at employees who work at height of fall – where the workplace includes work with masts and poles, as well as climbing where the level difference is over thirteen meters. Before you order the service, you need to make a risk assessment.
What the position entails
Medical check-up - Climbing with a large level difference including working ECG is done to reduce health risks for employees who work at a height of fall. Checking with ECG is not done as often as checking without ECG. Make sure you order the right service. After the inspection has been carried out, we will give feedback with a certificate of serviceability.
Checks must be carried out
- Before starting work
- Before resuming work if more than twelve months have passed since the last inspection
- Before continued work for the person who has been involved in an event that may lead to an increased risk when working at heights
- At intervals of no more than twelve months
ECG control must be performed
- At the first check
- Every five years for employees under the age of 40
- Every two years for employees between 40-50 years old
- Annually for employees over 50 years of age
The employer is responsible for ensuring that the correct health check is carried out with the correct periodicity.
How it works
- Perform risk assessment
Before ordering the service, you must carry out a risk assessment in order to identify the employee's specific work situation and any risks. - Request service
Fill in the information from the risk assessment carried out in the order form. After you have ordered the service, you will be booked in for a health check. The time is announced in a text message. - Fill in a health declaration
You fill out a health declaration and take it with you as a basis for the doctor's visit. - Visit
During the visit, vision and hearing tests are carried out, as well as balance checks, sampling and ECG. A risk assessment and a completed health declaration form the basis for the visit. - Certificate
A health declaration, medical examination and test results form the basis for the assessment and whether a certificate of fitness for service can be issued. - Feedback
A certificate of fitness for service is submitted to the employee.
Information for you as an employee
- Download the health declaration, fill in and bring it to the visit.
- Put on casual attire for the work ECG.
- Bring any previously issued certificate to the visit.
- Save the new certificate after the visit.
