Falck launches new e-learning on menopause for increased understanding in working life

Falck is launching a new e-learning course on menopause, where we review facts and insights based on current research to increase knowledge and understanding in a working life context. Regardless of gender or age, this is a relevant topic that contributes to a more inclusive work environment.

We know that menopause is a natural phase of life, but the knowledge and understanding of its impact, especially in working life, can feel inadequate and stigmatizing for many. Raising awareness and offering support is essential for creating a work environment where everyone can feel good and perform.

"As an employer and colleague, it is important to know about menopausal symptoms. A working-age woman can spend ten years in menopause, which can affect both the quality of life and the ability to work," says Sara Lagerholm, occupational health physician at Falck.

The purpose of the e-learning is, among other things, to raise awareness of what menopause means, what symptoms can occur and how they can be managed. We also want to highlight how menopause can affect working life and what measures can be taken to create a more supportive and inclusive work environment.
