The statutory check-up complies with the legal requirements of driving licence application according to TSFS 2010:125, 2016:37 and applies to employees who are in need of a driving licence with higher eligibility for professional traffic.

What it is

Statutory Checkup - Driving Licence is a health check-up that is done to determine possible health risks for employees who need a driver's license with a higher eligibility for professional traffic. The validity of the driving licence is valid from the date on which it is issued. The C, CE, D or DE competence is valid until the licence holder reaches the age of 45 and then renewed periods of not more than 10 years.

How it works

  1. Order service
    When you have ordered the service, your employee is booked for the check-up. The time is communicated in a text message to the employee.
  2. Fill out health declaration
    Before the visit, the employee fills in a health declaration and brings it to the visit.
  3. Visit
    During the visit, visual and hearing tests, balance control and sampling is done.
  4. Certificate
    Health declaration, medical examination and test results form the basis for assessment and whether a certificate for can be issued. The certificate is submitted to the employee and a digital certificate is sent directly to the Swedish Transport agency.
  5. Feedback
    No feedback is done to the orderer if the statutory check-up was approved and certificate issued.

What happens if I don't do a risk assessment before the check-up?

You should do a risk assessment before booking the service. This is to ensure that the check-up is done correctly, provides the right certificate and is not done unnecessarily. We do not check whether a risk assessment has been carried out or not, but book the service regardless.
