Quicksilver
OrderThe statutory check-up complies with the legal requirements of AFS 2019:3, AFS 2011:19 and applies to employees who are exposed or will be exposed to quicksilver in their work. Before you order the service, you need to carry out a risk assessment.
What it is
Medical Check-up - Quicksilver is done to reduce health risks associated with quicksilver exposure. The control detects increased uptake and increased storage of quicksilver in the body at an early stage. After the check-up, we will issue a certificate of service.
When it should be done
- Before start of employment
- After that every third year
The employer is responsible for ensuring that the medical check-ups are done with the right periodicity.
How it works
- Carry out risk assessment
Before you order the service, you must carry out a risk assessment in order to identify the specific work situation and any risks. - Order service
Fill in information from the risk assessment in the order form. Also state what your employee is mainly exposed to. When you have ordered the service, your employee is booked for the check-up. The time is communicated in a text message to the employee. - Visit
During the visit, an examination is carried out along with blood and urin samples. The performed risk assessment is the basis for the visit. - Certificate
The medical examination and test results form the basis for assessment and whether a certificate for service can be issued. - Feedback
A certificate for service is sent to you as orderer via secure e-mail.
Information for employees
- Bring any previously issued certificate to the visit.
- Save the new certificate after the visit.
