HU Oxygen-reduced environment (HP15) (periodic) - health declaration only

The periodic examination HP15, conducted in accordance with the legal requirements of AFS 2023:15, Chapter 9, Section 1, is intended for employees under 50 years of age who work in an environment with a reduced oxygen level down to 15%, as permitted by the Swedish Work Environment Authority's exemption from AFS 1997:7.

What it is

The periodic examination HP15, conducted in accordance with the legal requirements of AFS 2023:15, Chapter 9, Section 1, is intended for employees under 50 years of age who work in an environment with a reduced oxygen level down to 15%, as permitted by the swedish work environment authority's exemption from AFS 1997:7.

The service is ordered annually for the intervening years between medical check-ups and means that the completed health declaration is sent to Falck.

The occupational health physician reviews the health declaration and issues a certificate, provided that nothing abnormal is reported by the employee. If the health declaration indicates any impediment, a new medical check-up must be conducted before spending time an HP15 environment.
