Flight - Cabin Crew
OrderFlight medical assessment that complies with the legal requirements and applies to Cabin crew to ensure their ability to perform assigned safety duties and obligations.
The statutory check-up complies with the legal requirements of TSFS 2011:61, TSFS 2013:52 and SFS 2011:725 and applies to employees who are to resume work performing safety-critical tasks in rail-bound traffic.
What it is
Statutory Check-Up – Train Driver, Re-entry is done to assess the suitability of employees who are re-entering their jobs performing safety-critical tasks. After the check-up, we will issue a medical statement.
When it should be done
- When an employee has been absent for more than 30 days
- When an employee has been out of service after an accident/incident
How it works
- Order service
After the service is ordered, the employee is scheduled for a health check, and a notification is sent. - Visit
The visit consists of a general medical examination including a health declaration, drug test, sampling and a resting ECG for those over 40 years of age. - Certificate
A medical statement is issued by the doctor. - Feedback
The statement is sent in accordance with what was determined in the order. If the employee is not fit to work, you will be informed immediately.
What it is
Statutory Check-up: Flight - Cabin Crew is a medical and psychological assessment to ensure that employees part of a cabin crew are healthy. After the check-up, the employee receives a cabin crew medical certificate from EMPIC.
When it should be done
- Before starting work on an aircraft
- After that at intervals of no more than 60 months
- The time between examinations can be shortened at the discretion of the competent physician
The employer is responsible for ensuring that the medical check-ups are done with the right periodicity.
How it works
- Order service
When you have ordered the service, your employee is booked for the check-up. The time is communicated in a text message to the employee. - Visit
During the visit, ECG and audiometry are performed according to statutory periodicity. Sampling, blood pressure, height and weight are also done. - Certificate
After the examination, a medical certificate for air traffic controllers is issued by EMPIC. - Feedback
No feedback is made if the check-up is approved and a certificate can be issued.
