Asbestos General (English)

This e-learning is aimed at both employees and managers in all types of workplaces where there is a risk of unplanned exposure to asbestos.

This e-learning corresponds to a general level and has been developed for those who are exposed to, or are likely to be exposed to, asbestos-containing dust in their work.

The e-learning has been developed in accordance with the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations on asbestos (AFS 2023:13) and medical examinations in working life (AFS 2023:15).

Content of the training

The aim is to provide knowledge to protect yourself and colleagues from unplanned asbestos exposure.

The learning includes:

• Introduction and basic facts about asbestos
• Health effects and risks of asbestos exposure
• Identifying risks and how to act safely
• Safe working practices and protective measures
• Legislation and medical check ups

The e-learning course takes approximately 40 minutes to complete and no prior knowledge is required. Upon completion of the course and a passed knowledge test, a personal course certificate is issued, which can be downloaded in PDF format.

How it works

1. Order the e-learning
   Enter the desired number of licences in the order form. A confirmation will be sent to your email with the number of licences ordered, along with login instructions.
2. Complete the training
   The employee can complete the e-learning at their own convenience. The course concludes with a knowledge test, after which a personal course certificate is issued, which can be downloaded in PDF format.

The course is also available as instructor-led training, either on-site at your premises or online. We can also offer more comprehensive training for organisations working with, for example, the processing, demolition, or remediation of asbestos-containing materials.

No, you complete the e-learning course at your own pace and can split it across multiple sessions.
