Psychological First Aid (English)

What do you do if you meet someone who is struggling mentally? With this e-learning on mental health, you will gain knowledge and tools to feel confident in acting when someone around you is not feeling well.

Training content

In this e-learning, you will have the opportunity to learn more about mental health issues. You will also receive concrete tips and advice on how to best support your fellow human beings in difficult situations. The training is aimed at both employees and managers.

The e-learning includes: 

• Basic knowledge of mental illness 
• How stress affects mental health
• Crisis responses – identify and manage
• Strategies for preventing and promoting mental health 
• Communication, daring to act to support one's fellow human beings
• Support – when professional support is needed and where to turn

The training takes approximately 40 minutes to complete. This e-learning course combines English text blocks with short videos. The videos are recorded in Swedish, but all dialogue is subtitled in English to ensure the content is clear and easy to follow.
