Employees in the construction industry are at great risk of being exposed to asbestos dust. Asbestos is a dangerous substance that can cause serious diseases. If a material contains asbestos, it is usually necessary to take an asbestos test to get a definite answer.
What it is
Asbestos analysis is done by us at Falck for all types of workplaces and businesses. We have over 50 years of analysis experience in asbestos and have permission from the Swedish Work Environment Authority to handle and perform asbestos analysis/asbestos samples. Depending on the material to be tested, samples are taken in different ways:
Tiles, plastic carpet, wet room wallpaper and the like: about 5 x 5 cm. Make sure that the fix and joint, glue or similar are included.
Pipe insulation and other powdery stuff: 1 to 2 tablespoons.
Window putty, sealing in ventilation ducts, etc.: about 5 to 10 cm.
