What it is

The e-learning provides knowledge about ergonomics in healthcare with the hope of reducing the number of occupational injuries. In these professions, there is often heavy lifting and stressful work positions. Therefore, it is important that the employees have knowledge of how to work with, among other things, movement techniques to prevent strain problems in muscles and joints. The content consists of pre-recorded videos on the following topics:

• Manual work, heavy lifting and work tools
• Safe movement of people
• Variation and repetition
• Work technology
• Your body (exercise, diet and recovery)
• Work environment (responsibilities, roles, health factors)

The e-learning takes about 45 minutes to complete and is available in Swedish.
