Track and Tunnel Eligibility, Cat 19

Order

The statutory check-up complies with the legal requirements of Swedish Transport Agency's regulations and applies to employees who work with security services and employees who have requirements for track and tunnel access. The check-up only applies to individuals who work in SL's tramways, railways and metro.

What it is

Statutory Check-up - Track and Tunnel Eligibility, Cat 19 is a health check-up that is done to reduce safety risks in public transport. The health requirements are stated in the Swedish Transport Agency's regulations BVFS 2000:4TSFS 2013:50 and health requirements for locomotive drivers TSFS 2011:61

When it should be done

The employer is responsible for ensuring that the medical check-ups are done with the right periodicity.

How it works

  1. Order service
    State the work duties of the employee in the order. When you have ordered the service, your employee is booked for the check-up. The time is communicated in a text message to the employee.
  2. Fill in heath declaration
    Before the visit, the employee fills in a health declaration and brings it to the visit.
  3. Visit
    During the visit, a drug test, Rest-ECG and sampling are performed. The completed health declaration is the basis for the visit.
  4. Certificate
    A medical statement for security service/medical certificate for track or tunnel authorization is issued by the doctor and signed by the employee.
  5. Feedback
    The statement is sent in accordance with what was determined in the order. If the employee is not fit to work, you will be informed immediately.
