Lead Biological Exposure Control

Order

Medical check-up for lead biological exposure is an important service to ensure that employees exposed to lead in the workplace are not subjected to health risks. This service includes sampling to monitor lead levels in the blood and ensure they remain within safe limits and comply with legal requirements according to AFS 2023:15.

What it is

Medical check-up for lead biological exposure is conducted to reduce the risk of ill health due to lead exposure. Blood sampling is carried out regularly to measure lead levels in the blood. The analysis is performed by an accredited laboratory and assessed by an occupational health physician in comparison with reference values.

Biological exposure monitoring for lead-related work must be arranged before the employee starts and conducted at regular intervals of three months thereafter. This recurring monitoring can be rescheduled by a maximum of two weeks earlier or later.

How it works

  1. Order Service
After the service is ordered, the employee is scheduled for a visit with sampling. We send a summons to the employee.
  2. Visit
During the visit, the occupational health nurse conducts sampling. The occupational health physician evaluates the test results in comparison with reference values.
  3. Feedback
We send the test results from the medical check-up to the specified recipient via secure email.
