Order

A health check-up that meets the legal requirements of The Seafarers Registration Act (1983:929) and the Ship Safety Regulation (2003:438). It is intended for seafarers working in inland waterways and for fishermen.

What it is

Statutory Check-Up – Seafarers, inland waterway workers and fishermen is carried out to reduce health risks for seafarers working in inland waterways/fishing.

The check-up includes a vision test and a hearing test. After the examination has been completed, we provide a certificate and an assessment of fitness for duty. The fitness-for-duty assessment is based on the physician determining that the seafarer meets the vision and hearing requirements applicable to the intended area of navigation.

How it works

  1. Order the service
    After the order has been placed, the employee will be scheduled and an invitation will be sent. You need to specify the job title in the order form.
  2. Visit
    During the visit, a vision test and a hearing test are carried out.
  3. Follow-up
    The certificate and fitness-for-duty assessment are provided to the employee.
